Enable the digital transformation of a finance group
Financial Service
As part of the project's conclusion, we achieved cross-product consistency by standardizing the design output through the development of a master-level design system. This initial version of the Master Design Systems covered key aspects such as naming, grid systems, tables, calculators, and more.
It served as the foundation for other product streams, ensuring consistent designs across products. Additionally, it facilitated alignment and collaboration among multiple vendors, such as content management teams and front-end development teams, throughout the development process.

We established five experience principles based on trends and business understanding.
To enhance pre-login engagement, we introduced animations that resonates with younger audiences, showcasing the brand's commitment to connecting with them.

However, it was indeed a demanding schedule to maintain such intensive reporting and communication while ensuring design efficiency and quality.
To manage the intense delivery schedule, I adjusted task allocation and the communication process. Meanwhile, by introducing design templates, prototypes, and a design system early on and using Figma to prioritize new page designs, we maximized the time for creating new designs. This approach ensured up-to-date presentations with minimal effort during reporting sessions.
Through extensive communication and effort, we were able to reach an agreement with the client on design templates, granularity, and workflow collaboration. This allowed the team to proceed with design delivery at a more stable pace throughout the remaining project timeline.

The financial group faces digital transformation challenges in product experiences and organizational activation.
The program consists of five key products, each with its own website and app, spanning over 20 business units. The client's long-standing presence in the financial industry brings inherent cultural challenges to product design, including ensuring experience consistency and managing the diverse opinions of multiple BUs.
In my role as the product lead for the pre-login experience, my first step was to share best practices in digital products for financial services with client teams and establish a shared vision.
Within a short timeframe, I conducted an in-depth analysis of global and regional financial services websites to identify the most impactful trends that would guide the future product experiences.
Overcome collaborative challenges

The excellent outcome
When revamping the experience, the simplicity of the design raised concerns among business units about potential complaints.
To address this, we collaborated with the BU teams to carefully sort out existing products and functions, reassuring them about the protection and support of the existing business process.
